Got a lot of time on your
hands for the world's largest collection of Wallis trivia?
The movie "CONTACT" gave
me the startling thought that from my radio and television appearances,
dating back to the mid fifties, that I am also out THERE some
fifty LIGHT YEARS in all directions! A few hours of immortality
assured!

the younger readers will know who I am talking about! Not

SPECIAL
MENTION!!! The greatest cast ever assembled was for
Bravo Boardwalk Bravo, a Tibor Rudas
Production, the first Resorts International show in Atlantic
City! I have never worked with such a wonderful group of people! For
most, it was their first show, so no one brought any "baggage"
with them. I will always treasure the memories of how extremely nice
and thoughtful that group was! The techs, the dancers, the stage hands,
seamstresses and all of the cast and crew were truly special! Also
a lot of special folks in "Hooray '76"
and "Solid Gold" at the Flamingo as well
as the many shows in the Bahamas and AC, but perhaps because of the
"innocence" factor, the BBB group was almost perfect! Thanks
to any of those groups that may stumble onto this site! I hope life
has been good to you! And the same good wishes to the cast of "The
Roaring Twenties" in St. Louis those many, many years
ago! jw
HOBBIES, INTERESTS, LIKES, DISLIKES, MY
FAMILY MORE:
Have been sidelined with a bad hip, but hope to
resume my hobbies soon! SCUBA Advanced Open Water Diver, TARGET
SHOOTING with Rifles and Pistols, but not hunting. PHOTOGRAPHY,
SWIMMING, and combining the two with SCUBA. Most MUSIC, Especially
Baroque and Meat
Loaf!
DVD's and MOVIES. I loved the old Charlie
Chan, Sherlock
Holmes and Thin
Man series, as well as the Science Fiction classics and musicals.
I have dozens of the old Laser Disc format movies that I still watch.
Now my favorites are the
GRANADA Sherlock Holmes series with Jeremy
Brett and the short lived series, NERO
WOLFE series with Timothy
Hutton and Maury
Chaykin. A&E dropped the show to do "REALITY" TV,
and I've not watched A&E since. Now I find that A&E cut scenes
for commercials and didn't restorte them for the DVD's! BUMMER!
SPORTS on TV. Go BRONCOS!
Go SOONERS! SCIENCE FICTION!
I have quite a collection of Asimov,
Heinlein, Bradbury
and other pioneers. And of course, COMPUTERS!
READING: Favorite non SF authors are Tom
Clancy, Robert
Ludlum, John Saul, Dean
Koonz, and I loved the OZ books.
I have quite a few over 50 years old. Note that the link has all of
the OZ books for you to read as they are now public domain!
